Frank ocean is back with a brand new single called DHL.

Three years after his second studio album Blonde dropped to critical acclaim, the R&B singer-songwriter has previewed what we can expect from his long-overdue follow-up record with a sleepy new track called DHL, which premiered on his Beats 1 radio show Blonded.

The single cover features a man (presumably Frank) sitting in a chair with a bag over his head, matching one of thirteen silhouettes at the bottom, leading fans to assume the new album will feature 13 tracks.

It comes after Frank announced two 12” vinyl singles, Dear April and Cayendo, which are available to pre-order on his official website. He previewed them both in remixed form at his club night PrEP+ on Thursday 17 October.

There’s no release date for Frank’s third album, but he previously described it as a “full motion picture fantasy” in an interview with W Magazine, and said it would be influenced by “Detroit, Chicago, techno, house, French electronic” genres.
