“The end is near…”

The brand new (and final) action-packed trailer for Avengers: Infinity War has just debuted, and honestly, it might be the best trailer we’ve ever f***ing seen.

In past trailers, we’ve gagged over Captain America’s beard, Black Widow’s iconic new blonde bob, the improved Hulkbuster, and the sensational CGI work for Thanos. Now, we’ve been treated to a deeper look at our heroes in Wakanda as they prepare to battle the mad Titan, who’s come to Earth in search of the remaining Infinity Stones.

We also see characters such as Loki and Doctor Strange suffer at the hands of The Black Order, a group of immensely powerful henchmen for Thanos, and they look absolutely terrifying…

More excitingly, we finally get a glimpse of some highly-anticipated interactions between our beloved heroes. Iron Man meets the wise-cracking Star-Lord and Drax the Destroyer, whilst Spider-Man and Doctor Strange bond over their superhero nicknames.

Watch the sensational trailer below.

The epic blockbuster boasts an all-star cast which includes Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Dave Bautista (Drax), Don Cheadle (War Machine), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Chris Pratt (Star Lord), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch) and Karen Gillan (Nebula).

Deep breath for even more star power: completing the cast is Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk), Paul Bettany (Vision), Pom Klementieff (Mantis), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Sebastian Stan (The Winter Soldier) and Tom Holland (Spider-Man).

Avengers: Infinity War will be released in UK cinemas on 27 April and in the US on 4 May, and is directed by The Russo Brothers – the duo behind Captain America movies, The Winter Soldier and Civil War.

The highly-anticipated movie is the first of two films starring Thanos. The fourth – and untitled – Avengers movie will be released May 2019.

Black Panther – the 18th and most recent entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – received widespread acclaim from fans and critics upon its release last month, and became the first opening solo adventure in the series to gross 1 billion.

So far, it’s the highest-grossing film of 2018, the seventh highest-grossing film ever in the United States, and the 17th biggest film of all time. With Infinity War’s cast, it looks like Marvel have another billion film on their hands this year…
