Drag Race legend Detox has revealed her main regret about All Stars 2.
The iconic fashion kween recently joined Trixie Mattel and Katya for the cast announcement of All Stars 4, and reflected upon her experience on the spin-off’s second instalment.
During the seventh episode of the acclaimed season, Detox opted to eliminate fan-favourite contestant Alyssa Edwards over Alaska and Roxxxy Andrews, and admitted that it was a mistake.
She told Trixie during her Playhouse special: “The toughest decision for me was the Alyssa and Roxxxy one, because I knew Roxxxy was not doing well. I literally couldn’t do it.
“As soon as I picked that lipstick, and we were about to start, and the cameras were about to roll, in my head I was like, ‘This is the wrong decision. But how am I gonna be like, ‘Let’s cut the cameras, I gotta go change this lipstick. Is that even doable? Can I even do that? Is that an option?’
A visibly shocked Trixie asked Detox if she would’ve changed her lipstick choice, to which she confidently responded: “I totally would’ve.”
We love Alyssa, but we just can’t imagine Read U Wrote U without Roxxxy’s iconic, groundbreaking and revolutionary verse. Anyone else?
