As one of pop music’s biggest icons plans her return to the game, we’ve scoured the internet for every juicy bit of information we can get on Britney Spears’ upcoming 10th studio album.

It’s been over two years since the Princess of Pop made a return to form and gave birth to 18 solid bangers and mid-tempos with her critically-acclaimed album Glory, but she’s wasting no time getting back into the studio to give us moar.

We’re ready for Britney to bring out the smashers – here’s everything we know so far.

When is it going to be released?

While rumours of big album release dates come thick and fast in the age of social media, things have been surprisingly quiet regarding Britney’s 10th studio album.

We do know, however, that she’s been recording new material for over a year now – in an interview with the Ceaser’s Vegas Player blog from November 2016, the former Sin City resident revealed she’d already been back in the studio.

“I’m not sure what I want the next album to sound like,” she said. “I just know that I’m excited to get into the studio again and actually have already been back recording.”

With a brand new Las Vegas residency on the way next year, which goes by the seductive name Britney: Domination, it’s safe to say we’ll be getting some form of new music, and right now we’d take anything.

What has she actually said about the album?

The short answer? Not a lot. As with any Britney project, the star herself is staying very tight-lipped about her 10th studio album, and it’s likely that any rumours or teasers we’ll get will come from producers and songwriters.

Speaking to People in May, Britney replied to questioning over a new album by simply stating: “It’s a big secret.”

So, at the very least, we know the album is still coming… at some point.

Who is she working with?

Much of Glory’s magic came from Britney’s collaborations with songwriting duo Justin Tranter and Julia Michaels, who co-penned album highlights including Slumber Party, Change Your Mind, Do You Wanna Come Over? and Just Like Me.

Fans will no doubt be ecstatic to hear, then, that the trio have joined forces once again to write for the singer’s 10th studio album.

During the Golden Globes in January, BuzzFeed’s Christian Zamora spoke to Justin on the red carpet, where the hitmaker forewent the typical hush-hush approach and instead dropped two meltdown-inducing words: “Just wait.”

Perhaps we’re jumping to conclusions, but this sounds like something’s coming very soon

Of course, we don’t know if the songs they’ve made together will make the album, but given the success of the hits they’ve penned for the likes of Justin Bieber (Sorry, Friends) and Selena Gomez (Good For You, Hands To Myself), we have a feeling they will.

So… where’s that Pitbull collaboration?

Back in June, chart-topping hitmaker Pitbull announced that he and Latin icon Marc Anthony have a brand new song on the way called I Feel So Free With You, and it features none other than the legendary Miss Britney Spears.

Fans were divided over the collaboration, but it made sense considering Pitbull accompanied Britney for the UK and Europe dates on her Piece Of Me Tour this year. And who knows, maybe it’ll be a hit like Scream & Shout?

However, months later, and we’ve yet to hear even a teaser of I Feel So Free With You. Has it been scrapped? Are they just waiting for the right moment to unleash it onto the world? We’ll keep you updated.

Fun fact: Britney was supposed to feature on Pitbull and J Balvin’s 2017 single Hey Ma, but the guest spot ended up going to Camila Cabello.

When is she heading back to Vegas?

When people say that Britney changed the face of Las Vegas, they’re not exaggerating.

The pop culture icon made Sin City cool again when she began her record-breaking Piece Of Me residency back in 2013, and since then stars including Jennifer Lopez, Gwen Stefani and even Lady Gaga have embraced the residency lifestyle.

So it’s no surprise that she’s already got another residency planned. The entirely new show, dubbed Britney: Domination, promises to give fans “an immersive experience” as they party along to her extensive back catalogue of hit songs.

“I am so happy to be returning to my second home – Las Vegas!” said Britney. “I’m working on a brand-new show and I’m so excited for my fans to see it! It’s going to be so much fun being back on stage and I can’t wait to perform at Park Theatre.”

Britney: Domination, which takes place at Park MGM’s Park Theatre, will kick off on 13 February with dates planned until August. Given the success of her last residency, Piece Of Me, we wouldn’t be surprised if that gets extended.

Tickets for Britney: Domination are on sale now.
