Britney Spears has a cameo in upcoming movie Corporate Animals.

The pop superstar may have just announced an indefinite work hiatus, postponing her new Vegas residency in the process, but thankfully that doesn’t mean we have a year without Britney ahead of us.

During an interview with LA Times at the Sundance Film Festival, Corporate Animals director Patrick Brice revealed that the legendary singer had managed to film a short cameo for the horror-comedy in secret.

“Through a series of connections we were able to get 10 minutes of her time to record this, which was so awesome,” he said.

Patrick explained that one of the characters in Corporate Animals is obsessed with Britney (very relatable) and gets to a point where he believes he’s hearing her speaking to him through the walls.

The film’s official bio reads: “Lucy (Demi Moore) is the egotistical, megalomaniac CEO of Incredible Edibles, America’s premier provider of edible cutlery.

“In her infinite wisdom, Lucy leads her staff, including her long-suffering assistants, Freddie (Karan Soni) and Jess (Jessica Williams), on a corporate team-building caving weekend in New Mexico.

“When disaster strikes, not even their useless guide, Brandon (Ed Helms), can save them.

“Trapped underground by a cave-in, this mismatched and disgruntled group must pull together in order to survive amidst sexual tension, startling business revelations, and casual cannibalism.”

Corporate Animals will have its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on Tuesday 29 January.
