Yaas! P!nk is performing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl

Can she do the main show now please?

Pop superstar/aerial acrobat P!nk has signed on to perform the National Anthem at this year’s Super Bowl.

The 38-year-old singer is the latest pop diva to lend her vocals to The Star Spangled Banner, following in the footsteps of Beyoncé, Cher, Lady GaGa, Christina Aguilera and Mariah Carey.

Last week, P!nk excited fans with a cryptic tweet, which said: “I’m really looking forward to 2018. I’m excited about the Grammy’s. Tour.

“Some other stuff that’s a secret still and I can’t wait til it’s not a secret. I’m also excited for trump to lose his twitter password and also I’m excited that I have dope hair.”

Now we know! Grammys? Check. Tour? Check. Super Bowl? Check. This is going to be P!nk’s year…

P!nk’s eighth studio album – Beautiful Trauma – topped iTunes in over 65 countries when it was released last September, and has sold nearly two million copies worldwide.

Its lead single – What About Us – reached the top ten in 25 countries, and was recently certified platinum in the UK.

The album’s title track was released as the second single, starring Channing Tatum in drag as he and P!nk dance, subvert gender norms, drink cocktails and have a kinky threesome. The usual!
