Sam Smith celebrated New Years Eve in style this year as he donned a floral headdress and shiny sequin (or ‘sequins’ – we’re looking at you Roxxxy Andrews) gown, and all we can do is say “yaaas mama!” / “werk” / “slay!” etc.
The One Last Song singer served a smouldering pose in his drag attire, and captioned the photo: “Happy New Year Darlings. Thank you all for the most beautiful year of my life. Drink loads, pour flowers from your chest and celebrate your fabulous self.”

2017 was a good year for the Academy Award winning singer. His sophomore album – The Thrill of It All – received positive reviews from critics, and debuted at the top of the UK and US albums chart.
Its lead single, Too Good At Goodbyes, became the British singer’s sixth number one single in his native country. We repeat – sixth number one.
