You’ve got to see this guy perform a Dreamgirls classic for Jennifer Hudson

Performing live for the original Dreamgirls movie star? Risky.

However The Voice 2017 contestant Davon Fleming turned it out with this incredible performance of a Dreamgirls classic number I Am Changing.

The song, which helped launch judge Jennifer to international stardom, is renown for its high-belting chorus and tricky vocal gymantastic. However, Davon made it look somewhat easy – receiving a full standing ovation from the audience and judges.

Sung during the playoffs section of the hit NBC show, it seems the signature stage track might have just launched Davon to great success.

One user writing on the video: “Flawless. Goosebumps. The Voice is all about a singer like this man. HE CAN WIN IT.”

Another adding: “OMGGGG this is one of the best performances in The Voice history.”

Dreamgirls is now playing in London’s West End and recently featured Glee actress Amber Riley as Effie White – Jennifer giving her blessing to the show.
