RuPaul’s Drag Race has burst with popularity of the past few years, making the jump to VH1 and more recently bagging eight Emmy nominations, which resulted in three wins.

One of the highlights from last season was guest judge Lady Gaga, who helped the show achieve record ratings back in March.

As RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Ross Matthews and Carson Kressley took to the Emmys red carpet this past weekend, they were asked if they’ve managed to top Lady Gaga as a guest judge for the upcoming tenth season.

“It is kinda tough to top her. But I think we’ve done it. I really do,” RuPaul said.

The interviewer then jumped straight in to suggest if we could finally see Madonna visit the world famous runway.

“I can’t saaay,” Ru responded coyly, while the other judges also tried to deflect the question.

Of course, this isn’t a confirmation by any means, but we can’t think of many more stars who would be considered bigger than Lady Gaga.

Cher and Barbara Streisand are the only two that come to mind.

Either way, it sounds like the next season of RuPaul’s Drag Race is going to be bigger than ever. We can’t wait!
