Get your hands on our August cover star: Adam Woodward

Got Woodward? Hollyoaks’ new super-hunk is hot, wet and ready to make a splash

“Our show represents all kinds of different groups across society – like the current storyline of gay character Scott’s depression,” proudly beams Hollyoaks’ latest stud Adam Woodward.  “When people see things on screen that represent their lives, it helps them make sense of everything.

“I just think generally it’s important that everyone is equally represented.”

The actor, who has just arrived onto screen this past week, plays Brody in the award-winning Channel 4 soap.

Alongside the levels of LGBT+ representation on the show – something Adam prides the soap on – it hasn’t escaped his attention that life in on screen will also thrust him into the spotlight.

“Brody’s a ladies’ man, but I think any character in any soap has the potential to do anything,” Adam teases, “You really really don’t know where the writers are taking your character, so I’m just going to enjoy everything they write for me.”
