This gay dating sim lets you hook up with your perfect daddy

Dream Daddy is a brand new dating sim that lets you, well, find your dream daddy.

Announced on Father’s Day for maximum effect, Dream Daddy is described as “a game where you play as a Dad and your goal is to meet and romance other Hot Dads”.

We’re sold already.

“You and your daughter have just moved into the sleepy seaside town of Maple Bay only to discover that everyone in your neighbourhood is a single, datable dad,” the game’s description explains.

Players can choose between seven desirable dads who cater to a wide variety of tastes, so whether you’re after a bad dad like Robert, a goth dad like Damien, or a teacher dad like Hugo, there’s something for everyone.

Features announced for the dating sim so far include dad-themed mini-games, multiple endings for each dad, voice acting by the Game Grumps, an original score by Jesse Cale, and “so many” dad puns.

Players will also be able to customise their very own dad character to help them woo their potential dad suitors.

Despite only being announced to the world yesterday, eager daddy daters have already created some pretty great fan art of their favourite characters, and a special edition of the game has already sold out on their online store.

We’ll definitely be keeping a close eye on this one…

Check out a teaser trailer for the game below.

Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator is due out 13 July and is available to pre-order now on Steam.
