Now there’s a collaboration we weren’t expecting…
Hot on the heels of her show-stopping Super Bowl halftime performance, it’s been announced that Lady Gaga will be performing with legendary rock band Metallica at the 2017 Grammy Awards show.
The pop icon will be returning to perform at the prestigious ceremony for a third year running, after paying tribute to the late David Bowie last year, and joining Tony Bennett for a duet on stage in 2015.
Fans on social media caught wind of the news through of a Grammys television advert, which stated that Gaga will “duet with Metallica”.

She’ll be joined by a number of A-list artists including Adele, Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Bruno Mars, Daft Punk with The Weeknd, and the recently confirmed Katy Perry, who’s expected to kick-start her new era.
The awards ceremony will take place in Los Angeles this Sunday – in the meantime, revisit one of Gaga’s most memorable Grammys performances, where she emerged from an egg to perform her hit single Born This Way.
The 2017 Grammy Awards will air live on Sunday 12 February.
If you’re in the UK, you can catch it a day later on 4Music, at 8pm on Monday 13 February.
