Kylie Minogue confirms plans for new album and tour in 2017

We’ve waited for new pop material from her since we blasted Kiss Me Once. But it seems our favourite Christmas fairy might have just granted all our wishes true.

Speaking at the launch of her exclusive and first ever glasses launch with Specsavers, Kylie Minogue responded to a question from host Emma Wills about her plans for 2017.

Kylie replied: “In 2017, I’d like to make a new pop album and even think about touring again.”

Yes, a new Kylie album AND a tour… Christmas has most certainly come early!

Later teased by host Emma about her being unable to attend A Kylie Christmas at the Royal Albert Hall this past weekend, Kylie also confirmed plans for the show to return next year as well.

She also hinted at plans for more than two dates at the iconic venue — asking herself if her body is up to the challenge, she agreed quickly that it was.

The Kylie glasses collection, exclusive to Specsavers, will launch on Valentines Day, 2017.

The past weekend, Kylie packed the Albert Hall to perform her Christmas collection. Guests included Olly Alexander, John Grant and Katherine Jenkins.

The show marked the second year she’s performed the show at the venue.

Last year, Kylie performed 100 Degrees with her sister Dannii Minogue.
