Netflix has announced that the Fab Five will take their message of inclusivity and self-love to Tokyo.
The mini-series of Queer Eye will air for four episodes and will see the group intertwine with the country’s culture, while they transform the lives of four Japanese men and women from different cultures and backgrounds.
David Collins, creator and executive producer of the series, said: “In just a year since we launched season one, Queer Eye has become a global phenomenon once again and the Fab Five are truly the ambassadors of self-care and compassion that the world needs now more than ever.
“Filming in Japan is a wonderful opportunity for us to work with four deserving heroes that will help showcase the incredible traditions and customs of their country.”
The highly-anticipated third season will air shortly after and will see the team take their expertise to Kansas, Missouri.
Queer Eye’s first two seasons aired last year to universal acclaim and won three Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Structured Reality Program, Outstanding Casting and Outstanding Picture Editing.
The series is available to stream worldwide on Netflix.
