Ariana Grande drops new single 7 Rings, and it’s a BOP


Ariana Grande is keeping the bops coming.

Fresh off the huge success of last year’s Thank U, Next – which spent an incredible six weeks at the top of the UK singles charts – the pop superstar has dropped another new single called 7 Rings, and we’re already obsessed.

While Thank U, Next saw the singer encourage self-empowerment at the end of a relationship, and gorgeous mid-tempo Imagine showed off her more vulnerable side, 7 Rings is a trap-influenced celebration of friendship over love.

And if the track sounds familiar, that’s because it heavily samples Favourite Things from classic musical The Sound Of Music.

“Bought matching diamonds for six of my bitches, I’d rather spoil all my friends with my riches, think retail therapy my new addiction,” she brags on the song, which she recently revealed was inspired by a trip to New York she made with friends.
