Ariana Grande releases dreamy new single Imagine

Ariana Grande has dropped another brand new track called Imagine.

While smash hit single Thank U, Next – which is still riding high on music charts around the world – saw the singer celebrate self-empowerment and loving herself, this new release sees Ariana show her more vulnerable side.

“Staying up all night, order me pad thai, then we got’ sleep ’til noon, me with no makeup, you in the bathtub,” she sings on the trap-infused R&B mid-tempo, before asking, “Why can’t you imagine a world like that?”

As well as offering a more tender sound from the typically-confident singer, the track features some of the most gorgeous vocals you’ll hear all year – and don’t get us started on those whistle notes in the song’s final moments.

Replying to a fan who asked what the song was about, Ariana replied: “A simple, beautiful love that is now (and forever) unattainable.”
