Janet Jackson is back on her throne where she belongs.

It’s been three years since the R&B queen released her highly-anticipated comeback album Unbreakable, which reached the top of the charts in the United States, and she’s not wasting any time releasing a follow-up record.

Janet’s enlisted the help of reggaeton pioneer Daddy Yankee for a brand new single called Made For Now, which also comes with a colourful music video filmed in Brooklyn and helmed by acclaimed director Dave Meyers.

“Love is in the rhythm now, we’re dancing with a whole new meaning, love is on the way to fill you up,” she sings on the infectious, uplifting track.

Janet’s scheduled to perform Made For Now on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday 17 August, which will be her first late-night TV performance in 14 years.

Now we just need that new album announcement…
