Is this the coolest coming out story ever?

Telling loved ones that you’re LGBTQ is always a nerve-wracking experience, but we can imagine it’s made a little bit easier when you’ve got the most recent winner of legendary TV show RuPaul’s Drag Race to help you out.

That’s exactly what happened to one super fan named Megan, who got Gay Times cover star and all-round babe Aquaria to film a video announcing to her parents that she is a “full on dyke” – her words, not ours.

“I’ve got some terrible news: The world is ending. But I’ve [also] got some great news: You’re daughter is a full on dyke,” she joked in the video.

“Yes, I said it, loud and true. She’s Lezzie McLezzie, a muff muncher, and whatever other rotten words people have made to call lesbians. She loves the puss, and that’s pretty much it.

“We’re gonna have to deal with it. Do you think we can do it? Fingers crossed… shoved up a vagina.”

Megan later replied to another Twitter user explaining that her parents were “so supportive” when she came out to them, although she admitted they “weren’t sure what to make” of the explicit content.

While the story had a happy ending, some questioned Aquaria’s use of lesbian slurs like “dyke” and “muff muncher” in the video, especially coming from a gay man – however Megan quickly confirmed that she had told Aquaria to use those terms.

“Just to clear some things up, aquaria was quoting me when she said dyke. She asked what I was coming out as and I replied with ‘full on dyke’ and so that’s what she’s referring to in the video,” she wrote.

“I did not have the intention of offending anyone when I posted this.”
