Another survey found that 58% of gay men are unfaithful.

A survey conducted by Bespoke Surgical has revealed the regularity of sexual intercourse amongst gay men.

According to their findings, 39% of gay men have anal sex a couple times a week, 24% a couple times a month, and 13% daily. Of those surveyed, 1 in 6 participants claim to have sex less than once each year.

They also questioned participants on their preferred sexual position, with 39% of gay men identifying as tops, 33% versatile, and 29% revealing their preference for the bottom bunk. We may have to put a question mark on that one…

In regards to sexual preparation, only 42% of gay men use an anal cleanser, with 21% claiming they “sometimes do so”, and 38% saying they rarely or “never do”. Their findings also discovered that gay men who have anal sex every day are 1.3 – 2.1 times more likely to use an anal cleansing product, and people who have sex less frequently will use it less often.

Shockingly, only 37% of gay men use a condom when participating in anal sex, while 21% “occasionally do” and 16% “never do”.

Another survey – conducted by British gay health charity GMFA – questioned 1,000 participants on infidelity, and found that 58% had been unfaithful. 45% also told GMFA that their partner had found out, which means 13% of the participants haven’t told their partner that they have cheated.

GMFA also asked participants to define infidelity. The biggest offences were anal sex (79%), blow jobs (76%), hand jobs (74%), and kissing (66%). Using hookup apps, such as Grindr constituted as cheating (55%), as well as sending nude photos (43%) and privately messaging someone (34%).

68% also said breaking the rules of an open relationship counted as infidelity.

So, thoughts? Are these surveys representative of the population? Are (only) 29% of gay men really bottoms?  Let us know what you think!
