This five-year-old’s reaction to his older brother being gay is adorable

“Love is love!”

Coming out on YouTube has provided many memorable and emotional LGBT+ moments over the past decade, with a new generation of gay youth having more inspirational role models than ever before.

But last week, Oliver Potter decided to have a coming out chat on YouTube, but with a twist.

Instead of telling his fans or parents, he instead told his five-year-old little brother Alfie – and the result is adorable.

Alfie has absolutely no problem with his big bro being gay, and even described it as “cool”.

“Since Alfie has known I’m gay he has been as loving as always,” Oliver said. “He has even been to school and told his friends that his brother would marry a man.

“They all took it well and think it’s pretty cool which made me smile.”

Oliver hopes the video will highlight the fact that children are never too young to understand that love is love, and that it will encourage people to be more open about their sexuality with family and friends.
