Andaz London Liverpool Street unveils bespoke menus for London Restaurant Festival

Five-star luxury boutique hotel Andaz London Liverpool Street has created a limited edition festival menu for five of its bar and restaurant venues as part of this years London Restaurant Festival.

Andaz London is an official partner of the London Restaurant Festival throughout October and the menus will be offered on Eastway, 1901 Wine Lounge, Catch Lounge, George Pub and Miyako.

Developed by Head Chef Sam Dunleavy, the Eastway set menu in particular in made of two courses for £25, or three courses for £29, including Pork and Rabbit Terrine served with Truffle Butter and Blackberry, Apple Chutney and Smoked Salmon with Sweet Potato Waffle and Crème Fraiche, and Apple Chutney.

Mains featured on the set menu include Pan Roast Duck served with Savoy Cabbage, Creamed Mash & Fig Jus and Grilled Mackerel with Samphire Mash & Mussel Beurre Blanc.

1901 Wine Lounge meanwhile will provide a wine and cheese pairing menu. The menu features a selection of locally sourced cheese boards, from neighbouring cheesemongers Androuet at Old Spitalfields Market such as Montgomery Cheddar and Cornish Blue. A pairing of 3 wine & cheeses is priced at £24.00.

Andaz London will also be hosting a range of informative wine tasting events in the 1901 Wine Lounge, with some of the top producers from key wine regions around the world will be on hand to offer in-depth masterclasses covering introductions to vineyards and talks on select blends and the production process.

Catch Lounge will feature Pulled Beef with Chilli Slaw & Pickled Cucumber as well as Smoked Trout served with Potato & Dill Yogurt. Ice cream macaroons will also be available for dessert, with flavours including Salted Caramel, Mint Chocolate and Sesame.

The George Pub has created a series of autumnal additions including Braised Venison Shoulder served with Celeriac and Potato Puree, Roast Chestnuts. For dessert, an indulgent Salted Caramel Ice Cream and Toffee Popcorn Sundae will feature alongside Earl Grey Crème Brulee with Honeycomb and Lemon Shortbread.

Miyako will serve a Japanese set menu from £25.00 per person with bottomless green tea or £30.00 per person with a Sake experience. The feasting menu will include dishes such as Sweet Prawn Nigiri, Spicy Tuna Nigiri, Salmon and Avocado Nigiri and Spicy Fresh Crab Meat Rolls. Dessert comes in the form of Sesame Ice Cream Macaroons served with Yuzu Cream and Sake Jelly.

All menus will be present from 1st – 31st October during this year’s London Restaurant Festival.
