The Genting Hotel offers four-star luxury and a moments peace outside the busy city centre.

Located above Resorts World Birmingham – a modern entertainment complex comprising of a shopping mall, casino, cinema and spa – the Genting Hotel is ideally located for those attending a concert at the Genting Arena or looking for a stopover before or after a flight from Birmingham Airport, and is an excellent place to relax for those heading into the city centre with just a 15 minute train journey separating you from bustling New Street station.

We stayed in the Signature Room, where the decor was elegant without feeling intrusive. The room was immaculately presented, and still feels as new as it did when the resort opened back in 2015. The hotel offers all the facilities and services you’d expect from the four-star experience, including a pool, spa, fitness centre, sauna, air conditioning, a reasonably affordable room service selection and of course free Wi-Fi. Business trips are well catered for with large executive boardrooms and more intimate private function rooms available to hire.

But the hotel isn’t just a place to rest your head at night – Resorts World offers a variety of big-name outlet stores and dining experiences for you to enjoy, and there’s plenty to do on the evening with an Imax-ready Cineworld cinema for film junkies and a 24-hour Genting Casino for those feeling lucky. If you’re looking for an sophisticated night out, try the New York-inspired High Line bar, or head up to the top floor with Sky Bar, which offers Japanese cuisine and a panoramic view across Birmingham.
