Some people can just wear anything and look cute…
…and Simone Marchetti is that man. Fashion editor at Italian news website la Repubblica, Marchetti can often be spotted on the streets running to and from the shows and literally never disappoints with his looks.
Never in our lives has a man made us want to wear a pussy-bow shirt, leopard pants, Chewbacca loafers and ugly dad sneakers… not all at once, although we do feel like he’d probably make it look chic AF.

All black is our forever go-to and will always continue to be until the end of time. Do as Simone does and perk up your Wednesday Addams ensemble with some of-the-moment ‘ugly’ sneakers and a pop of colour scarf. The key to this look is the cropped trousers and bare ankle contrasting with the bulky sneakers.

Pink does make the boys wink, so why isn’t anyone wearing it? This look is absolute perfection, but if you’re not brave enough to go full Chewbacca on your feet then opt for the Gucci option which is a little more… subdued.

The fact that this look seems like we can just roll out of bed and into the streets is an idea that is very appealing – however, we sleep naked and not in beautifully pressed silk pjs. Pair yours with a chic black overcoat and thick-rimmed glasses so you don’t just look like you’re hungover and running to the shop for paracetamol.
