Homophobic leaflet distributed at UKIP conference compares gay lifestyle to Hitler

The leaflet distributed by Support 4 The Family has some chilling comparisons…

A leaflet distributed by Support 4 The Family at the UKIP conference in Torquay has compared gay “lifestyle” to Adolf Hitler and the Yorkshire Ripper.

The leaflet, which was obtained by the Mirror says: “The phrase ‘abusers of themselves with mankind’ in the Bible [refers] to the practice of homosexuality.

“You may call it an ‘alternative lifestyle’, but this term is meaningless.

“Everyone from Hitler to the Yorkshire Ripper could claim an alternative lifestyle that, to themselves, no doubt seemed quite natural and instinctive.

“The question is whether homosexuality is a legitimate alternative. God says it is not,” it finished.

The leaflet was signed by two Belfast clergymen, and brought to the conference by Support 4 The Family’s Belfast representative, Raymond Stewart.

When the Mirror asked him about the comparisons he said: “I can appreciate why that’s been stated because the LGBT [community] have a very aggressive agenda.

“The problem is Christians in the UK, especially in Northern Ireland, are being marginalised because they dare to believe that marriage is between one man and one woman.”

The leaflet was however condemned by a committee member for the group, Deborah Pitt, who said that the leaflet wasn’t helpful in spreading the group’s conservative message.

Homophobia is no stranger to this UKIP conference as the Bishop of Rochester, Michael Nazir-Ali, who is ardently opposed to LGBT+ rights is due to speak at the conference.

And what of Nigel Farage? He’ll be heading to America this week to campaign for Senate candidate Roy Moore, who said that having gay sex is the “same” as having sex with a cow.
