Make sure you’re all strapped in, Bussy Bear is in the driving seat…
National Express West Midlands have unveiled their brand new mascot, but his name will have the gay and bisexual community creasing at the sides.
Obviously the travel company wanted a snappy moniker for the bus-driving bear, but unfortunately they haven’t realised what ‘bussy’ is slang for.
We’re pretty sure you’ve all caught on by now, but for those of you who haven’t, Urban Dictionary is your friend…

Add to that that the term ‘bear’ in the gay community refers to a beefy man with lots of body hair, it’s just gay slang from start to finish.
So the fact that Bussy Bear has “set up camp in Bearwood” and “can’t wait to meet you” makes it even more hilarious.
He even has a Twitter handle where you can share selfies with him at @BussyBear82.
We’re pretty certain we’ve spoken to someone with that username on Scruff before…
Of course it’s an innocent misunderstanding on the part of National Express (we assume), but it’s given us a good old chuckle for sure.
