Get Muddy with All Out Races and GT!

As we celebrate LGBT History month, it’s clear that over the past 50 years we, as a community, have overcame some major obstacles. What better way to acknowledge this feat than by taking some new ones with All Out Races and Pride in London?

This year, Pride in London and All Out Races have teamed up to put on the UK’s 1st LGBT+ Mud Run. This challenging 6km course will include over 40 thrilling obstacles designed to test endurance, teamwork, physical strength and mental stamina. 10% of all ticket sales will be donated to Pride in London. What’s more, GT readers have an exclusive 10% discount on the entry fee across all categories.

The event will take place in the stunning backdrop of Brentwood, Essex and will feature the UK’s biggest and best obstacles such as – a giant 20-foot water slide, zip-wires, spinning monkey-bars and a whole lot of fun obstacles. They’ll also have male/female/non-gender specific changing facilities and showers so you feel comfortable to chill out and enjoy the day. In addition, there’ll be a lively event-village with food, drinks and entertainment. And if that wasn’t enough, there are camping options available, too, so you can pitch-up the night before and enjoy the outdoors with your friends.

GT’s fitness guru, Charlie King, says, “While it can be difficult to maintain fitness levels, signing-up to a summer challenge is a great way to boost your motivation and training. This is a great way to get the community together for an awesome cause. I’ll be there on the day to take up the challenge so sign-up now, join our team and let’s do this together.”

Thomas Mannah, of All Out Races, says, “I took part in my first mud-run about 2 years ago, and since then I’ve been hooked. I really want this event to be about engaging the community with outdoor activities where there’s one shared goal – getting to the finish line. We’re donating 10% of all ticket sales to Pride in London, so get involved it’ll be a brilliant day out.”

“Pride and the Mud Run are both moments of shared strength and both are not just for the LGBT+ community, but for everyone,” says Polly Shute of Pride in London. “We’re also teaming up with LGBT+ charities to raise much needed funds through individual and team sponsorship so get your colleagues, friends and family involved, run through mud and overcome obstacles with Pride!”
