Fans of 90’s gameshows, get excited – London’s Crystal Maze is about to get a whole lot more colourful.

The Crystal Maze Pride Takeover will commence on 30 June, and will see a host of characters from London’s cabaret scene guiding guests through the recently revitalised maze.

HIV-awareness charity Terrence Higgins Trust will collaborate with the venue, with ‘many of the finest talents in London’s LGBT community’ appearing to celebrate the end of London’s 2016 Pride.

Sonya Trivedy, Director of Fundraising at Terrence Higgins Trust, said: “The Crystal Maze is a hugely iconic game-show so we’re thrilled that they have chosen to support our vital work with this rare and exciting event.

“The funds raised will support our ongoing work with people living with and at risk of HIV.”

Drag superstar Jonny Woo will host the event alongside The Family Fierce, a collective of quirky queer cabaret stars who will act as ‘maze masters’ during the event.

Guests will enjoy a post-event drink at the Crystal Maze members bar, with The Family Fierce providing plenty of entertainment in the form of classic drag games such as Lip Sync Battles.

With the promise of more celebrities making an appearance, The Crystal Maze Pride Takeover is set to be rather fabulous indeed.
