Get ready for one of the biggest celebrations of everything LGBTQ as New York City Pride have announced a stellar line-up for their 2018 festival.

Swedish pop sensation Tove Lo will headline the first day of Pride Island, a multi-day LGBTQ cultural experience, which this year will be held at a new location at Pier 97 in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen.

If that wasn’t big enough, Goddess of Pop, Kylie Minogue, will close the show on the second day, in what promises to be a glittering extravaganza for NYC Pride goers.

It will come hot of the heels of her brand new album Golden, and her latest single Dancing.

Lizzo, Drag Race champion Sasha Velour, Big Freedia, and DJ Grind are also on the two-day line-up.

Pride Island will take place at Pier 97 over the weekend 23-24 June.

Tickets for the show go on sale at midday on 1 March on the official NYC Pride website.

This year’s theme for the LGBTQ event is Defiantly Different.

“This year’s theme is about showing our power, squaring our shoulders in the face of adversity, and continuing to sculpt that magnetic bond within the LGBTQ+ community and our allies,” said David Studinski, NYC Pride co-chair.

“The corresponding creative showcases a wide selection of defiantly different community members – from performance artists to mental health advocates. We are standing defiantly – defiantly different and defiantly as one.”
