Aaron Carter breaks down during first performance since coming out

The 29-year-old said to the audience: “I just want to say thank you so much for all your love and your support with the LGBTQ community.”

American singer Aaron Carter was overcome with emotion last night after he received cheers from the crowd in a gay bar after declaring: “Yes, I am a bisexual man.”

The star came out to his fans last weekend, saying that he has been attracted to both guys and girls since his early teens.

Aaron also said to the audience: “I just wanted to say thank you so much for all of your love and all of your support with the LGBTQ community and my announcement.”

Video footage then shows the 29-year-old in tears while the crowd chant his name.

He also pointed out both men and women in the audience he found attractive before playing a new song, titled – Hard to Love.

Aaron revealed the song was inspired by his ex-girlfriend Madison Parker, who broke up with him after she found out he was bisexual.

“I had discussed it with my ex-girlfriend, and she didn’t really understand it and she didn’t want [to],” Aaron told the Bert Show.

“And that was it. So we left it mutual and parted ways.”
