It turns out there is one downside to being a famous gay – you just can’t use Grindr.

During an appearance on The Ellen Show, popular talk show and radio host Andy Cohen discussed his newly-found singledom, and Ellen wasted no time in questioning whether or not he’s been using any dating apps.

“I am on Tinder, and there is a gay dating app that I’m on that I keep getting kicked off of because they think I’m impersonating Andy Cohen!”

“They’re like, ‘Your photos don’t meet our guidelines’, and I keep trying, I’m like, ‘No, it is me!’”

And while the audience found his little anecdote hilarious, Ellen pointed out a potential problem with his story.

“Anyone watching is going to try [to use your photos] because now you’ve given them that idea,” she joked.

Andy also played a game of Hot Hands, where he was shown a series of celebrity photos and had to press the buzzer and announce their name before the timer ran out – you’ll have to watch the clip below to find out how he did.

Andy clearly isn’t shy when it comes to sharing his bedroom habits, as during a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, he and best friend Anderson Cooper spilled the T on their sex lives.

With the help of former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak, the two guys were asked questions about each other and had to answer at the same time to see if they could find a match.

During the hilarious game, we found out that Andy prefers to wear briefs, would dress up as a policeman during roleplay, and has never had sex with a woman. But the most intriguing reveal came when talk turned to notches on the bedpost
