Aside from making headlines for his criticism of Trump’s administration during the Winter Olympics, medal-winning figure skater Adam Rippon has been stealing hearts with his unapologetic attitude to being a queer man in the spotlight.
During an interview with E! News, one admirer took his new-found crush on Adam to a whole new level, as host Justin Sylvester probed the star about his romantic life.
“I’m not,” Adam said when asked if he’s dating, “I’ve just been so busy that I haven’t really had time. I was focusing on getting ready for the Olympics, and it’s just been a whirlwind after that.”
He then sent out an open invitation, adding: “Listen, anybody out there, you let me know!”
And that’s when Sylvester took his shot.
“So I’m gonna throw this out there,” suggested the host. “When you come to LA, I wanna take you out on a date, grab drinks, your choice, or I can show you my LA, and we can just kick it!”
“Wow, I love it, I love to just kick it,” Adam replied.
“Done and done,” an ecstatic Sylvester announced. “I will get your number from my producer, and I’m gonna hit you up, and we’re gonna go on that date.”
Sorry Shawn Mendes, it looks like Adam might have moved on to a new guy…
