Davey Wavey strips off with gay disability activist to fight stigma – watch

YouTube star Davey Wavey gets naked with a gay disability activist in a bid to battle the stigma surrounding sex and disability.

A lot of us feel an awkwardness when discussing disability, and it’s that awkwardness that Andrew Gurza embraces by reclaiming the word “cripple”, getting naked and discussing sex.

In an interview entirely in the buff, the YouTube star behind viral videos like Straight People Are Hot? and Ways People Kiss explains his feelings around disability in an attempt to learn more from Gurza.

Gurza hosts a podcast called Disabled After Dark in which he discusses the issues he faces as a severely disabled gay man, including the able-ism he faces on a daily basis.

“If I wanted to take a naked picture for somebody on an app, I then have to explain to my team of people that are working with me – who don’t necessarily want to be involved in my sex life – why I am naked,” he explained.

“The idea of having that privacy around your body, and the autonomy to do that, is really rare [for me].”

In the interview, he also gives advice on how to “fuck a cripple” where he explains what it’s like to be in bed with a disabled person.

“It’s not going to look like what you see in porn, or what you’re used to seeing,” he said. “There’s going to be a lot more communication, there’s going to be a lot more discussion of what needs to be done.

“I have to story-board my sex sessions.”
