Jennifer Hudson and Pixie Lott have have stepped out of their big red chairs to collaborate on a reinterpretation of Imagine Dragons’ smash hit On Top of the World, as well as starring in the accompanying music video together.
The stars are joined by Brazilian singer Luan Santana, Indian popstar Monali Thakur, and Nigerian performer Yemi Alade for Shell’s #makethefuture campaign, which aims to tell the story of the impact of clean energy solutions in the UK, the US, Germany, Brazil, China, Kenya and India.
“As a music artist, I’m excited to be lending my voice to inspire future generations,” said Pixie. “I am proud to be collaborating with Shell #makethefuture, to encourage people to learn more about the potential of new clean energy solutions.”
Malena Cutuli, Global Head of Integrated Brand Communications at Shell added: “Music is a universal language and, by tapping into our passion for it with this stellar line up of artists, we can spark a global conversation around access to cleaner energy in an engaging way.

As well as featuring the five music stars, the On Top of the World music video also showcases ‘bright energy ideas’ which hope to create more and cleaner energy in the future.
Pixie Lott served as a coach on the first series of The Voice UK Kids earlier this year, which aired on ITV.
