“I wanna be a Ruby Stripper!”

Hosted by Graham Norton and featuring over 100 stage performers, MAD Trust’s annual charity fundraiser took a trip down the Yellow Brick Road at London’s Novello Theatre – raising a record-breaking amount in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

West End Bares 2017 has so far raised £50,000 so far, breaking last year’s record. The final amount will be announced in due course.

Graham was joined by guest presenters Adam Garcia, Oliver Savile, Mark Gatiss and husband Ian Hallard, Summer Strallen, Dianne Pilkington, Tom Allen and Celinde Schoenmaker.

The show opened with a hilarious performance from Olivier Award-winner Rebecca Trehearn, featuring a song by by Mark Anderson and Luke di Somma.

The evening continued with a colourful strip – sorry, trip – towards the Emerald City with performances from stars across the West End, including those from Dreamgirls, Wicked, Motown, Kinky Boots and beyond.

Bares is based on the original concept Broadway Bares by Broadway and West End director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids.

Here’s a few highlights from the incredible night…
