Hooray for allies!

Harry Styles kicked off his sold-out world tour last night with a show at The Masonic in San Francisco, and he made a lovely gesture to the LGBT+ community.

While performing Woman, a track taken from his self-titled debut solo album, a fan threw a rainbow Pride flag on stage, which the singer proceeded to twirl around before attaching it to his microphone for the rest of the show.

Dressed in a floral two-piece suit, the former boyband member performed all 10 tracks from his debut album, as well as re-workings of One Direction songs What Makes You Beautiful and Stockholm Syndrome.

Harry also covered Fleetwood Mac’s The Chain, and put a rock-n-roll spin on Ariana Grande’s album track Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart, which he co-wrote for her sophomore album My Everything.

Harry will return to the UK in October for four shows, including two at London’s Eventim Apollo, one at Manchester’s O2 Apollo, and another at Glasgow’s SEC Armadillo.
