Louise Redknapp to play her first live show in over 15 years!

Well this was unexpected…

Louise Redknapp has announced plans to headline her first solo show in over 15 years.

The gig will take place at London’s Under The Bridge venue on 22 December, with tickets to go on sale at 10am this Friday (15 September).

The singer told fans that to mark the upcoming new shows, she has a series of acoustic videos ready to unveil in the coming weeks.

Louise has also reworked her 2000 hit 2 Faced, which peaked at No.3 in the UK.

“I went back into the studio to rework some of my original tracks and it reminded me that pop music was my first love,” she said.

“Performing is a part of me and I’m very excited to be announcing this show. I can’t wait to be back on stage performing all of the hits as well as a few of my favourite covers.”

Louise left Eternal in 1995 after two years in the British girl group, going on to pursue a solo career that would see her sell over 15 million records.

However, the star hasn’t released a new single since 2003’s Pandora’s Kiss / Don’t Give Up, which reached No.5 on the UK chart.

Louise has released just three studio albums – Naked, Woman In Me, and Elbow Beach – as well as two retrospective collections.

Last year she reached the final of Strictly Come Dancing, but lost out on the title to Ore Oduba.
