The Scottish actor is the sixth celebrity confirmed for Strictly’s 2017 line-up.
Joe McFadden has become the latest celebrity to sign up for Strictly Come Dancing’s upcoming 15th series.
The 41-year-old Scottish actor was announced as a participant on Strictly’s official Twitter page earlier this morning, making him the sixth celebrity (so far) to be confirmed for the 2017 line-up.
He joins Reverend Richard Coles, Eastenders actor Davood Ghadami, Hollyoaks star Gemma Atkinson, The Saturdays singer Mollie King, and This Morning presenter Ruth Langsford.

Joe said: “Strictly is one of the biggest, most entertaining shows on TV and being asked to be part of it is a once in a lifetime opportunity that I’m thrilled and terrified about in equal measures!”
The Glasgow born actor is best known for playing the role of Raffaello ‘Raf’ di Lucca in BBC One’s medical drama, Holby City.
He first came to national attention playing PC Joe Mason in Hearbeat from 2007-2010, and has also appeared in Take the High Road, Sex, Chips & Rock ‘n’ Roll, and The Crow Road.
You can watch Joe strut his stuff on the dance floor this autumn on BBC One.
