Now this is radical…

There was much eye rolling across social media when Vogue magazine made A-list couple Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid the faces of gender fluidity for their August issue, but another Zain out there saw it as an opportunity.

Chicago-based artist Zain Curtis (also known as Teen Witch Fan Club) decided to use the photoshoot to create a true envelope-pushing magazine on gender fluidity.

Instead of the couple swapping a few clothes items with each other, here their sexual and gender identities are explored in a much more explicit way.

“I wanted to do a parody of the Vogue photoshoot as if it was more intimate and extreme,” Curtis told OUT magazine.

“I enjoyed the controversy over the article because it broadcasted a new term to a lot of their mainstream audience.

“Fluidity should not be seen as a trend, but there to explore gender, sexuality and to have fun with the multitudes of both.

“This wasn’t saying this is the correct way to present gender fluidity, just my spin on it.”

Only 500 copies of the Fluid magazine have been made, and you can purchase yours here.
