Go behind the scenes of Star Wars: The Last Jedi

The eighth chapter in the Star Wars saga will be released in UK cinemas on December 14.

A behind the scenes look at the highly anticipated Star Wars: The Last Jedi was revealed at the D23 expo last night, and it looks like another stunning intergalactic adventure.

In the clip, Daisy Ridley (Rey) says: “Ryan has written a story that’s unexpected, but right.”

Mark Hamill (Luke) also revealed: “Even though I think I know it all, they throw things at me story wise that I never could have imagined.”

We also get to see John Boyega, Oscar Isaac and the late Carrie Fisher on set, with a sneak peak at new cast members Laura Dern and Benicio Del Toro.

The Last Jedi is the eighth chapter in the Star Wars saga, and follows 2015’s The Force Awakens, which became the third highest grossing movie of all time with a box office intake of over 2 billion dollars.

Picking up exactly where The Force Awakens left off, The Last Jedi will focus on the relationship between Luke Skywalker and Rey, as he teaches her the ways of the force.

The film stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern and Benicio Del Toro.

The Last Jedi marks Carrie Fisher’s final on-screen appearance, as she will not be digitally altered to appear in Episode IX.
