Blonde bombshell Kristin Chenoweth announces London Palladium concert

Emmy and Tony Award-winning singer and actress Kristin Chenoweth is returning to London for an exclusive and intimate concert later this year.

Held at the world-famous London Palladium on 20 October, the stage and screen star – who originated the role of Glinda in Broadway’s Wicked – will perform popular songs from Broadway and the Great American Songbook, accompanied by Michael Orland.

A Hollywood Walk of Fame Star recipient in 2015, she received in 2009 Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in Pushing Daises. She’d previously won a Tony for You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown – also nominated as Glinda in 2004.

Kristin is known around the globe for the portrayal as the witch from Oz, but also for her role on Glee – for which she was nominated for two Emmy Awards and for a People’s Choice Award. Other signature shows from the blonde bombshell include On the Twentieth Century and Hairspray LIVE!

Tickets for the London Palladium go on pre-sale 13 July, with general on sale from 14 July.
