Now YOU can take a trip down Wisteria Lane.

Five years after the show ended, Desperate Housewives is back, but this time it’s you who is controlling the hit show’s famous femme fatales.

That’s right, the long-awaited video game version of Desperate Housewives has finally been released on iOS and Android.

You can play as customised versions of Susan Mayer, Lynette Scavo, Bree Van de Kamp and Gabrielle Solis in a number of puzzles and games.

Whether it’s finding clues to solve a murder, flirting with a hunk at the local cafe, or stirring up the batter for your latest batch of muffins, there’s plenty to get through.

You can even decorate and furnish your own house. Now that’s some serious Sims realness right there.

But here’s the twist: the game is actually a prequel to the TV show, meaning this is the ladies’ life before we got to know them.

This isn’t the first time the hit show has been transformed into a video game either.

Desperate Housewives: The Game was first released as a PC CD-rom (remember those?) back in 2006, while a board game based on the series followed in 2007.

As for the TV show, that ran for 180 episodes across eight seasons between 2004 and 2012.
