Ricky Martin has filmed his first ever naked sex scene for American Crime Story

“The exhibitionism kicked in…”

Ricky Martin has revealed that viewers will see him in his first ever on-screen sex scene when he takes on the role of Gianni Versace’s boyfriend Antonio D’Amico in the forthcoming new series of American Crime Story.

The Ryan Murphy anthology series will tackle the 1997 murder of Gianni Versace by Andrew Cunanan, which then saw Donatella take over his fashion house.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly about playing Versace’s lover, Ricky confirmed that viewers will be seeing a lot more of him than they have previously seen.

“I thought I was going to be more uncomfortable,” Ricky admitted when asked about the sex scenes.

“The exhibitionism kicked in for a moment and all of a sudden I was naked in bed in front of 20 people from the crew and another actor I met that same day.”

Ricky added: “I was not nervous at all. On the contrary, I was ready to do what needed to be done.”

Part of the show has been filmed at the Miami beach mansion Villa Casa Casuarina, where Gianni lived and was killed.

Academy Award winner Penelope Cruz will take on the role of Donatella Versace, while Darren Criss will star as Andrew Cunanan, and Edgar Ramirez as Gianni Versace.

Oh and as we all know, we can expect to see quite a bit of Darren Criss in this one, if this naked snap is anything to go by…

The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story will air in early 2018.
