We finally have a date for the Will & Grace comeback!

Mark your calendars…

We finally have a date for the long-awaited return of Will & Grace, which will come back 12 brand new episodes later this year.

NBC have confirmed that the sitcom will air on 28 September as part of the channel’s Thursday night comedy block at 9/8c.

There’s no word yet on who has picked up the right for UK viewers, with the original run broadcasting on Channel 4 between 1998 and 2006.

Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes will all return for the new episodes.

Series creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan have also returned to helm the comeback.

“We’re thrilled that one of the smartest, funniest, and most defining comedies in NBC history is coming back,” NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt said earlier this year.

“This groundbreaking series for everything from gay rights to social and political commentary — all disguised as a high-speed train of witty pop culture — is coming back where it belongs.”
