E3 2017: Watch Nintendo’s big press conference right here

Nintendo are expected to show off their biggest upcoming releases at E3 today.

The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) is a highlight of the year for many video game fans, as high-profile hardware manufacturers and software developers come together to show off what they’ve been working on.

It’s also where the three major players in the home console market – Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo – historically deliver their biggest announcements, whether that’s the latest in a popular series or even a brand new console.

Unlike its competitors, who deliver their announcements in the form of a live press conference, Nintendo is continuing its trend of delivering a pre-recorded Spotlight video to show off what fans have got to look forward to.

We already know we’ll be seeing more of Mario’s next outing, Super Mario Odyssey, but the rest of the presentation is being kept firmly under wraps. Could we see a return of other big franchises like Animal Crossing or Metroid?

You can watch the E3 Nintendo Spotlight below from 5pm in the UK or 9am PT/12pm ET in the US.
