The new Will & Grace trailer is a five minute musical mini episode – and it’s fantastic

If you weren’t already incredibly excited for the long-awaited Will and Grace comeback later this year, get ready for your anticipation levels to soar – with a little bit of song and dance, of course.

To tease the return of the NBC sitcom this autumn (that’s fall to our American readers), the four main cast members have come together for an incredible five minute trailer, which is essentially a musical mini episode.

Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes will all return for 12 new episodes of Will and Grace later this year.

Series creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan have also returned to helm the comeback.

“We’re thrilled that one of the smartest, funniest, and most defining comedies in NBC history is coming back,” said NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt said earlier this year.

“This groundbreaking series for everything from gay rights to social and political commentary — all disguised as a high-speed train of witty pop culture — is coming back where it belongs.”

Will and Grace first aired on NBC between 1998 and 2006.

It was one of the first American broadcast programs to feature gay series regulars.
