Listen to the soaring new Steps single Story of a Heart

If you think it sounds like ABBA, that’s because it essentially is…

Steps have released their brand new single Story of a Heart – and it’s a soaring, nostalgic, poptastic mid-tempo number.

Gay Times exclusively revealed that it will serve as Steps’ second single from their new album Tears On The Dancefloor as part of our exclusive track-by-track rundown in the latest issue, which is available to buy here.

Story of a Heart originally appeared on former ABBA member Benny Andersson’s 2009 album of the same name.

However, the legendary songwriter and producer let Steps rework the pop hit for their new collection.

It serves as the follow-up to Steps’ recent single Scared Of The Dark, which knocked Ed Sheeran off the top of the UK iTunes store upon its release last month.

Steps’ new album Tears On The Dancefloor will be released on 21 April.

The new music – as well as a new headline tour – coincides with the group’s 20th anniversary.

“We think Steps are a little bit of what everyone needs right now. We can’t wait to take the new album plus all our favourite hits out on the road,” they said.
