Destiny’s Child have reunited, but what does it mean?

The girl group are fast approaching their 20th anniversary, so fans are naturally holding out for a new tour.

Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams reunited this past weekend while celebrating at Solange Knowles’ post-Grammys party in Los Angeles.

All three Destiny’s Child ladies are looking fantastic and their outfits of white, red and black look like they’re ready to step into a new photoshoot as a girl group once again.

At this point, however, it’s not to be, but that’s not say there isn’t plans in the pipeline.

Back in 2015, Beyoncé’s father Mathew Knowles – who manages Destiny’s Child – revealed that there are numerous plans for reunion projects.

“I am extremely hopeful that the ladies will come back with an album and a tour. I’m working on a few Destiny’s Child projects right now,” the 62-year-old music manager told The Huffington Post.

“My second book will be the autobiography of Destiny’s Child. I’m talking to the film and TV community right now, regarding a Destiny’s Child movie or TV series of some sort.”

He added: “I still manage the ladies, and I’m hopeful that within the next two to three years we’ll see something major come from it.”

Looking ahead to 2018 and we come to the 20th anniversary of the band’s self-titled debut album, so maybe that’s where Mr Knowles is planning towards.
We can only hope.
