Good news American Horror Story fans: Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters will be sticking with the series for its seventh outing later this year.
A seventh season was announced towards the end of 2016 as American Horror Story Roanoke was airing, but show creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed that its two main stars are to return.
“Each new chapter is a cultural event, beloved for every new twist in imagery, style, cast and plot,” FX CEO John Landgraf added on Thursday.
“We are thrilled that Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and the entire creative team will continue to deliver the groundbreaking, celebrated American Horror Story for years to come.”
However, don’t expect to be finding out any clues about the upcoming season as, in the same way as in season six, nearly every detail such as plot, season title and the remainder of the cast will be kept under wrapped until its premiere. Although, FX has assured that it will all be unfolded in a “unique fashion.”
Ryan Murphy did give us one teaser though, telling us that the newest series will be set in the “modern day”.
What’s more, the 20th Century Fox Television drama has been renewed for an eighth and ninth series, meaning it will be on screens until at least 2019.
