Adam Lambert performs Hot Patootie in new Rocky Horror teaser

Hot Patootie, bless my soul – it’s Adam Lambert in the Rocky Horror Picture Show!

FOX have released another brand new teaser for their reboot of the 1975 camp Halloween classic, and this one is focusing on pop star Adam Lambert’s portrayal of ex-delivery boy Eddie, originally played by Meatloaf.

Adam was reportedly originally approached to play the main Rocky Horror antagonist Dr Frank-N-Furter, but he turned down the role as he felt it was “inappropriate” for a cisgender man to play a trans character in 2016.

Starring alongside Adam in the musical reboot are Laverne Cox as the aforementioned Frank-N-Furter, Tim Curry as the Criminologist Narrator, Disney star Ryan McCartan as Brad, and Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice as Janet.

Taking on the role of the hunky titular star Rocky is model and singer Staz Nair, whose jawline and muscles are more than suitable for the role – you can check him out in those infamous gold shorts here.

Watch the teaser for Adam’s performance of Hot Patootie below.

The Rocky Horror Picture show airs in the US on FOX on 20 October.
