Eurovision 2016 winner Jamala releases music video for 1944


Eurovision 2016’s winner Jamala has released a haunting music video for 1944.

Remember Jamala, the Ukrainian winner of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest? She’s released a brand new video for her heartfelt winning track 1944.

The eerie, futuristic video was shot at a deserted military base on top of a mountain, and features some amazing choreography by Anatoliy Sachivko, in which Jamala herself demonstrates her dancing skills.

Jamala is one of Russia and Ukraine’s biggest LGBT rights activists, and she won Eurovision 2016 for Ukraine with a record 534 points.
